Awakening
Upon a distant time was my heart whelmed
By the sweet beauty of fair moon and stars.
Mine for only a single fleeting night,
Yet now forever changed in heart and soul.
Enchanted by the splendor of moon's grace.
Entranced by the words of star's fiery light.
A night that shall remain in memory,
A cherished time of passion now recalled.
A joyous eve, with last show of sun's blush,
Unrolls the jeweled velvet of night's sky.
An argent treasure, darkly gilt, unveiled
To a soul that of beauty has forgot.
A midnight passion, held in light's embrace,
As cool caress of moonlight slowly builds
To fevered touch of distant astral light.
And
